A passion I can finally share

After working a number of years as an art director graphic designer/language teacher, I can now dedicate my time to one of my greatest passions, and finally share it with people coming from different countries, of different ages and backgrounds, through hiking and environmental education. I've been a AIGAE Certified Hiking Guide for several years and, as a Trip Leader for the Active travel company Backroads (www.backroads.com), I've been leading biking and hiking trips in Italy, France, Costa Rica for the last 3 years.
I'm originally from Liguria and, after living and working in a number of places in Italy and abroad, I moved to a small village in the mountains of Casentino, a quite remote rural area in Tuscany, close to the Appennine backbone.

I organize hikes and trekkings of one or more days in this area, in The Foreste Casentinesi National Park, in the Appennino Tosco-Emiliano National Park, in the Apuan Alps region, in Chianti and Valdarno, in the Cinque Terre Area and Liguria at large, in Piedmont, in the Dolomites and other areas upon request.
